"whats the plan for this saturdae??"
"nth"
"mmmmm...."
"let's go somewere"
"OK... but were??"
"anywere"
"mmmm......"
"mmmmm......"
and after lots of thinking he suggested "Changunarayan?!?!"
i had never been der.... atleast did not remember much about tht place cuz las tym i was der i was too little i guess... leave it... i dunt remember... so my response was "Ok... great... how do we get der??"
"mmmm...... we can take bus or sth..."
".....mmm.... or we can take mah skutie..."
"ok tht'll b ok.... we myt get pblm while cumin back... so skutie wud b OK.."
"grt... but 1 pblm"
"??"
"wat m i gonna tell mah mum?? c wont lemme go tht far on mah skutie...."
"thts a pblm..."
but it was DONE in  my head tht i was going and i was sure tht i WAS gonna get a permission frm mum....
"mmmm... we'll c abt it... "

that was a conversation i had with him during planning our FIRST adventure...(well we had no clue what adventure we would make that dae then....)
So as planned we left for Changunarayan that morning..(I told mah mum about the plan as it was and didn't let her deny cuz she was brushing her teeth wen i told her... hehe... n then i started brushing n brushed for a longer tym thn required...tht is how i got the permission, let's ignore the fact tht was not actually a permission ;D)
ahh so where were we?? yea.. I left totally hyped up for Changunarayan, OUR first adventure, picked him up on the way n We were off.... and then who would dare stop US??? the roads were OUR the tym was OUR the dae was OUR, the adventure was OUR,  so we kept going, stopping just to refill at a gas station... talking, laughing, singing, being quiet at times, teasing each other and ummm..... yea. n after loadsa turnings, gud roads, bad roads, bumpy roads, dusty roads, clean roads, steep roads(i dunno if i used the correct word), we were there finally after almost an hour ride... We got a place to park my skutie n we started to walk..... full of energy, cams out, ready to spend a long time there... so we walked took some pictures here n there, talked, and walked and walked... We stopped at this place for some time waited for something interesting to pass through so we could get some pictures.... when nothing like that happened we started again...

We reached Changunarayan Temple in like minutes... sat there for some time... He took a picture of mine(which made my profile picture too for facebook).

This pic of mine at Changunarayan....

and we started again.. to walk of course...Took a couple of pics on the way back.....

This pic is one of them and then Changunarayan was done within minutes...

i couldn't believe over an hour ride to get there n it was done within minutes?!?! as we walked we realized tht we were already back to parking area... didn't even take an hour to get back... This was the start of our adventure.... so we rode again, way back home......On the way, checked out a rough way..... but tht led us to sort of  dead end... so came back on OUR way, way back home......  I was really not in mood of coming back home.... There were guests at home n i also wanted to ignore them... so we again talked, sang, thought where should we go...... and we were close to home already still no idea where to go..... n then an idea popped up..... "how far is khokana??" n we knew where we were headed.... We were close to mah home but took a different road and headed Khokana...... and NOW THE ADVENTURE STARTS...... the unplanned one... So we took over the roads again and rode and rode... On the way he finally guessed who my new and first model is(model has a long story and is yet untold.. mayb insome other posts).
After around one hour ride, we were out of Kathmandu and entered a completely different world.... A much peaceful one, much cleaner one, a much natural one..... I was really liking the place as we closed towards Khokana.... The greenery and fields started, a really beautiful place started.... And finally we were there.... We got a place to park mah skutie and once more totally hyped up we started walking.... Around 10 minutes of walk some pictures on the way and we were in one of those really beautiful places i have ever been to around Kathmandu.  It was a total contrast to what we were seeing everyday in Kathmandu. I just couldn't believe THIS place was this close and I had never been there...
Tried to capture some parts of natural beauty in my cam..... Following pictures are what i could capture but trust me the view you can get being there is far far better than what you can see in pictures....

There were few houses there good distance apart from each other. That really helped keeping crowd, pollution away.

Khokana can be called a place of farmers. It was all farming area. These are rice pulses from those fields.

One more shot from beneath the crops.

He took some pictures here and there.

These were couple of houses in the center of the vast fields..

A family of sheep.

A very sheepy shot i got.

Another sheepy shot i got there.

walking along the rice fields.....

there was a shephard with some sheep. i wanted to shoot tht but <sigh> i was too slow and missd the shot. the next tym i spotted the shephard there were no sheep around. this is where i spotted him. he is right there under the umbrella if you couldn't spot him.

After a quality time there, we headed back... walked back to skutie.... This tym he took over the wheels. I enjoyed the pillion seat.

You are not thinking that was all adventure, are you?? cause that was not. Now we headed towards Bungmati. Thts exactly opposite the way our homes were located. Even farther than where we were at that moment. I let him take the lead. The farther we were from Kathmandu, the better the environment got, the cleaner and greener the world seemed. And i was totally in love with everything around me. I was loving the time. Even the weather was in a really good mood. And i was just smiling all the time.

The roads got the worst it could at places but his riding skills helped a lot lot. Whenever i was the driver at those places, i was compelled to let him take over. Was just impossible for me to cross these places. So we switched the front seat like UMPTEEN times. Even after this type of bumpy, slippery ride, there was not even a tiredness in us. We were still full of energy and ready to take in whatever we faced ahead.

It was around Dashain, a festival of swings. We crossed lots of bamboo made swings on the way. I wanted to stop for a quick swing but we couldn't. And finally at one place, we saw a swing where some kids were enjoying. We asked them if we could join and they didn't deny. And that was a break from bumpy roads n skutie seat. We swung there for some time. He got some really nice snaps of me swinging.

thts a snap of me by him. totally love this picture.

Once more we started the ride. We rode and rode the bumpy roads, loving the adventure, loving everything we went through and we were going through.
And now we were close. The bridge we were headed to was close. The way we had to go through at last was the most challenging. It was the narrowest way i had ever seen in my life and now i was gonna ride through that path. He took over the handle again here. And finally after that path, we were at one end of the bridge. We stopped here for some time, looked around, adored the place, joked around, took some pictures.

one of the pic i loved that day. thts him holding on, modelling a l'il bit for me.

this is the bridge and thts how my shoes looked till we got there.

That was the furthest we got that day. From there we headed towards Kathmanndu again. Riding through fields and some more muddy, rough (so called) roads we caught smooth road. That told us we were close to Kathmandu again. As we came closer the greenery started to fade way, it started to grow hotter, dustier and i already missed where we were just some minutes ago. And so we entered Kathmandu, where we belonged. Now maybe the impact of environment or i do not know what energy seemed to drain. We were hungry, wanted to stop.
So fighting the Ktm traffic, horns, pollution, we headed New Road. Entered a Restaurant called sth lyk Mood  restaurant or something. Totally hungry, we ordered some food. And that was the hardest part of the day. Eating really bad spaghetti(worse thn we had ever tasted) and then momos, finally after paying we left. My mum had called me and i could feel her mood going grim.
We headed home now. The traffic was really horrible, i was missing the places we had been to earlier that day. After dropping him on the way, i headed home alone. Got home after over 80 kms ride. Mom had a good lecture ready for me but it was all worth it. I didn't mind taking in the lecture. The strange thing was i was still smiling after a super long and dramatic lecture.

So that was the ADVENTURE, THE FIRST ONE.
We made memories and this day will stay close to my heart till the day it stops.

Thats all for this adventure...
And yea there are more stories, yet to be told.
So wait for more adventures and new posts with more pictures.

Till then ENJOY and KEEP SMILING.
